Hi, I'm Lucy, founder of The Horse Box Sauna.

As a multi-sport athlete and a sports therapist, I've always been fascinated by the power of hot and cold contrast therapy to aid recovery from activity. Over my years of training, I've come to realize the benefits of hot and cold therapy, in the form of saunas and ice baths, and their power to boost physical and mental well-being. I've experienced the deep relaxation of a sauna after a tough workout and the invigorating rush of an ice bath to soothe sore muscles, and I'm passionate about sharing those benefits with others. 

I have had quite a few years experience of club swimming, open water swimming and triathlon, as well as touch rugby, distance running etc. And having discovered the mobile/wild sauna scene in the last year or so, I knew I needed to get involved and bring the benefits of sauna to the wider public.

So I set about researching and finding the best and most environmentally friendly way to create a mobile sauna experience and so we have created Amber The Horse Box Sauna. She is an electrically powered (partially solar) sauna that can come to a venue near you.

We are in the process of building relationships with local venues around the Berkshire area, so if you have any new ideas for venues then please do let us know.
