Normally we suggest:
either arrive after a recent shower or use the watering cans or stand on shower when you arrive
hop in the sauna for up to 20 mins (but we advise around 8-10 mins)
cool off - either in the icebaths, stand on shower or watering cans or simply by hanging around outside for a while
Rest to allow your body to rebalance and then go around again
feel free to head in and out of the sauna and icebaths as many times as your session allows
Get dry and into warm clothes afterwards and enjoy the firepit if we have it running.

We always encourage you to listen to your body. If you start to feel unwell during your session ensure you leave the sauna or icebaths and take a break to allow your body to normalise. Ensure you bring water with you and hydrate in between your sauna sessions. If you feel unwell please let us know so that we can help you if you need it.

Our sauna is for over 18s only.
Our sauna has a steep-ish ramp that you enter via and there is not a lot of space to manoeuvre inside the sauna so it is not really accessible for those with moderate to major mobility issues. Our team are not able to support those with mild mobility issues so you will need to bring a carer with you and book 2 slots in the sauna if this is the case.
If you have any health concerns that might be exacerbated by being exposed to hot and cold immersion therapy then you will need to consult your medical practitioner before attending a session. You are using the sauna at your own risk.
-
All of our venues will have toilet access nearby our advice is to allow time before your session to use the bathroom so that you don’t lose time in your session.
Some venues will have changing facilities. If not, where possible we will provide a changing tent, if that isn’t possible then you will need to change outside under a dry robe or towel.
-
We understand that life happens so up until 48 hours before your sessions you can cancel or amend as you need to. Once you are within 48 hours of ahead of your session, there is no automatic refund.
Please contact us at thwhorseboxsauna@gmail.com and we will try our best to help you.

If the weather means that it is unsafe for us to provide our sauna service (i.e. strong winds or electrical storms) then we will have to close to keep everyone safe. But we can otherwise offer our sauna service, come rain or shine, so we can’t offer refunds should you not fancy the weather conditions that day.
If we cancel your session we will either offer a refund or a credit to use for an alternative sessions, depending on what is most appropriate.
